It was very fun and nostalgic to be living in"our" Whale Watch Home for a week. That home has lots
of memories for our family and it was great to be able
to share our vacation with our adult children and some
friends. ... As building
contractors, we lead a very busy life here on Anderson
Island. To see my husband Paul relax on the lanai and
serenade us every morning with the ukulele was really
the highlight of this vacation for me! Mahalo for
making it all possible!

We had a great time and enjoyed the Whale Watch home immensely. Beautiful view and great neighbourhood. There was only one day that we did not spot whales! The geckos provided lots of amusement - especially the evening one of them took on a huge moth on the lanai and took a chunk out of its wing!

We had a wonderful stay at your house. Good location, fabulous view, and plenty of space for our family… The beds were great, as was the weather. And thanks for supplying the baby items, i.e. crib, high chair, toys etc. We also appreciated the boogie boards, beach toys, and flippers. I would definitely recommend others to stay at the Whalewatch Home. Cheers, Blake Kadane -- Feb. ’08, Calgary, Alberta
After my stay at your place we moved down to the Marriott (a company meeting): boy were we sorry. I told everyone how great your place was. I would love to stay at this house again… Thank you for making my family’s trip so nice. -- Scott Lucas & Family, Feb. ’08, Modesto, CA
We had a really great time. The house was beautiful and well equipped. There were plenty of cleaning supplies and bags, foil, et cetera. Everyone slept comfortably and soundly. We also really appreciated not having to rent our own body boards. Our experience was totally positive. We actually saw many more whales than expected from the lanai and it was also nice to watch people surf Lyman's. Thanks again, Tonia White -- Feb/Mar ’08, Portland OR
We had such a wonderful time at the whalewatch home! We especially enjoyed our surprise visitors....... the geckos. It was fantastic how well equipped for kids you were…. We will absolutely stay with you again, and we are hoping to make it to Kona again. Thanks for making our vacation special.
Hope to see you again, The Guss family
Ps we've rented many beach houses on East coast beaches, and none have been so well supplied. It was particularly nice have the paper products ect.

Very little to improve on in the house - it was very comfortable, beds were great (I've a bad back and didn't have any problems), kitchen was well fitted out, etc. There was nothing at all we needed that wasn't there, the place was very clean and well maintained and it was the first property we've rented anywhere that has had so many supplies in - normally you have to go out and buy cleaning supplies, etc., and it was great to have everything there. - Des & Maria Meagher Slane, Co Meath Irland July ‘08
Thanks for your help whilst we were staying in Whale Watch house. We had a wonderful time and the house was great. - Cheers and thanks again, Matthew Dusting, Victoria Aus. Oct. '08
We found the Whale Watch Home to be a good value, especially with the size of our party. Hotel rooms would have been much costlier. We found the beds to be comfortable and we all slept very well. Enjoy the sunsets from the lanai, even if it is cloudy, you might be surprised. The house was very comfortable and well located and we look forward to returning to Whale Watch House. Bring good binoculars. -- Don Bua and Family, Ukiah, Ca April 2010
