Our Christmas `13 and New Years `14 stay @ the Shogun Home for 7 adults and 3 kids was a special treat to be able to get our 3 families altogether for the special time of year. The Shogun house gave us the room to move around and all sit around the dinner table at the same time. The Shogun home has everything you need from TP to table napkins, two washer and dryers, 3 refrigerators, 3 king & 1 queen size beds, 3 big walk-in showers, and all the supplies you will need in the kitchen, and the remainder of the complete house, lots of beach toys, and a large pool, to top it all off. The large lanai with two BBQ's and two large tables was great for any family meal. The best part of all was the 180 view of the ocean from the home .
The owner also gave us a special treat in that he had a Christmas Tree set up for us and the kids.

Just wanted to let you know that we totally enjoyed staying at your house these past 2 weeks.  Everyone in our party had a great time.  It was so nice that we never had to go out to buy toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent or dish detergent.  I loved seeing all the papayas, bananas, limes and even a small pineapple growing in your yard.  It was one of the best vacations we have ever had.  We want to return to Hawaii someday and be able to rent your house again as it was stress free.  Thanks again, Marianne Moore, West Grove, PA October 2011

The Shogun Pool house was perfect for our family gathering.  There was space in the living areas for all of us to eat together and relax together, yet we all had enough private sleeping space.  The pool was wonderful and the gardens around the house made it feel quite private.  And, it was a great place to watch the sunsets.  It was great to have a place to come "home" to after our daily adventures.  We left feeling that we had made the right choice.  Mahalo, Steve and Grace Kinney and family (50th wedding anniversary),  Ketchikan, AK  August 2011

The home was a good value compared to a resort.   The pool was nice.  Our kids used it almost every day.  The abundance of supplies was fantastic.  We have rented homes in Florida on several occasions and this house was wonderfully convenient, the supplies were abundant, the beds were comfortable, the view was great, and check-in and out couldn’t be easier.   Thanks for being a part of a great trip!  - Brian & Joanne M.,   Westerville, OH  June  2011

We are back to Japan yesterday.  We thank you very much for your arrangement.  The Shougun Home was just perfect for our family, spacious, BBQ, pool, appliances and the view was truly breath taking.  It was a short stay, but we enjoyed everything very much.  We would definitely like to go back to your home again someday.  Once again, thank you very much for everything.  -- Best regards,  Tatsuya, Chiba Japan, May 2011

The Shogun Pool house was a terrific place to stay for our week in Hawaii -- extremely well stocked, very convenient to everything, lots of room for an extended family.  The kids loved the pool, the adults enjoyed having the grill and lanais available, and everybody made good use of the boogie boards and other gear you had available.  Thank you -- Vijay Radics & Family,  Norfolk  MA   April  2011

We really enjoyed our stay at Shogun House.  For our family, it was perfect.  The house had everything we needed and more.   The pool was great ; we used it every day.  The barbeques were very handy.  We used them every night and loved to watch the sun go down as we prepped for supper.   We used the strollers and all the beach equipment.   We would recommend Shogun House to a large group, particularly one with children.  Thanks for everything.  - Deanna Chernick & Family,  Regina, SK Canada,   February  2011

We enjoyed our stay at the Shogun House very much.  The house is beautiful.  We loved the view.  Everything from paper towels to toilet paper were all stocked up.  The 2 washers and dryers were especially helpful as we had to do laundry everyday with the kids swimming and at the beach constantly.  The stores were close, even the urgent care is just down the street.  We had the best time snorkeling at Kahaluu park, which was very close.  Overall, we would strongly recommend this place to anyone that wants to take a family vacation.  We loved the location of the house.  We hope to return again some day soon.  – Sitha K., San Jose CA, Jul 2010

This house is equipped with anything you need for a relaxing vacation -- beach towels, bath towels, boogie boards, fully equipped kitchen, two washers, two dryers and detergent! The list goes on... -- Julie Sisson, Novi MI, June 2010

Nothing was needed in the kitchen area; it was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. We never found a need we couldn’t resolve with kitchen gear. And we did lots of cooking!  The pool was very nice, it was great to beach in the am, come back and sit by pool in afternoon. Also very nice for kids to have a calm place to swim after wave bashing at beach.  The home was a great value compared to a hotel: being together, being able to cook dinners, put kids to bed and play cards in the living room, all much better than a hotel.  --  Glidewell Family, Seattle Wa,  Nov 2009

Our family had a great time during our stay.  We found the house very well stocked with all supplies, having the beach chairs to use was a big plus.  We enjoyed barbecuing and being able to have everyone together at the dining room table and living area, very roomy.  Certainly the price was a plus and so much better than a hotel.  We will use your services again.  --  Mahalo Linda Jacobson, Long Beach CA, June ‘09

I am glad to comment on our stay at the Shogun Pool Home.  It could not have been better.  The house was stocked very nicely…  We loved having the pool…  Our grandkids loved all the pool toys as well as the beach toys.  It was great to have all the equipment there that we needed - beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards, etc.  It was also great to have some toys in the house for the kids to play with and the high chair and playpens were life savers.  We also cooked in a lot and used the BBQ's.
Also something that we didn't expect  - there were wild turkeys that went through the yard every day.  It was so much fun to see them.  We also used the quiet sitting area - just off the back deck by the BBQ's a lot.  We told our grandkids it was the secret garden story telling place and they loved it.  The two washers and dryers were also great and we were glad to have them - especially after swimming in the ocean.  Thanks again.  Becky & Mark Warner, West Jordan UT Jan '09

The house was great. Everyone in our group was very appreciative of how clean it was, their were a lot of supplies. I think the only thing we ran out of was laundry detergent, we just bought some more. The washer and dryers were a great help. The boogie boards were a huge hit too…  Boy, was I and everyone else extremely pleased… Thanks again -- Shellie & Sean Huntington, Molalla OR, Mar. '08

The entire family had a wonderful time at the Shogun home. There were so many pluses that may seem small to you but are very helpful to visitors. To name a few: the beach towels, the boogie boards and other water toys, the paper products and plastic bags so we could make sandwiches, the spices, the laundry supplies, the amazing numbers of glasses and plates, the huge piles of bath towels, ice chest…
Thank you for your hospitality. - Ann Nora Kruger, Happy Valley OR Dec 08
