There is some snorkeling around the shore by the lawn, though the shoreline there is broken coral and lava rock, not sand.

As usual, the park tends to be a little more crowded on the weekends, but there is usually plenty of room to set up your beach chairs.

The turn off to Manini Beach Rd. from the Road that leads from Napoopoo to City of Refuge.

The beach is about two blocks down the one
and a half lane road.

There is parking near the beach on the side of the road.

You may also see a donkey wandering around, munching on weeds.

As you approach the beach, you may see this house pad where a house sat before it was washed away by the tsunami of 2011. This area saw some of the heaviest damage in the state, though only a few homes were completely lost.
