* Keokea Beach Park is a nice place to have a picnic in North Kohala.
*No beach here. The water is very rough meaning swimming is bad, though there is small cove formed by the breakwater and also a stream in the park. Exercise caution as there are strong currents off this part of the island. As with most places on the island, there is no lifeguard; always be careful around the ocean.
