picinic tables at this beach.

Not as crowded in the mornings,
except Wednesday, which is cruise ship day.

DO NOT feed the fish or touch marine life.

Many Sea Turtles at this beach.
Touch one - go to jail.

North end of the beach is popular for longboard surfing and stand up paddling (SUP). Surf lessons available onsite. This second lifeguard station has limited hours. Beware - the area to the North near the church can have an undertow current towards the rocky shore.

Directions: Kahalu'u is on Ali'i Drive 5 miles South of the Kona pier, and 1 mile North of Keauhou.
