Honl's Beach park is located just outside of "town," as you head South on Ali'i Drive. The park has both grassy and sandy areas, and there is lots of shade. The park is popular for sunbathing and bringing a beach chair to read a book. The water is not good for swimming as it is mostly rock / reef, however experienced surfers and bodyboarders will surf the break here when the waves are up. There is plenty of parallel parking across the street, where the park has bathrooms and a shower.
