Excellent snorkeling within 40 yards/meters from shore. Do not stray too far from shore- no lifeguards. You may encounter currents beyond 100 yards from shore.

DIRECTIONS: From Highway 11, turn on Highway 160 at the Honaunau Post Office. Downhill 3 1/2 miles to the City of Refuge / Pu`uhonua o Honaunau.

after the entrance to City of Refuge.
