As an alternative lodging to the mega resorts, homeowners, Bruce & Melanie offer their peaceful, quiet country estate. Located on 3 acres in Kohala Estates (only our PO box is located in Waimea/Kamuela) on the beautiful Gold Coast of West Hawaii, playground of ancient Hawaiian royalty. The Hawaiian translation of Ho'onanea means to pass the time in peace, ease & pleasure, to relax. All suites have a private entrance & bath, off-street parking, kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven and refrigerator, and an outdoor barbecue grill. Amenities include satellite TV, VCR, high speed internet access for your laptop, book library, and a variety of videotapes for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy breakfast at your leisure featuring 100% Kona coffee, macadamia nuts, juice, cereal, tropical fruit & homemade bread served to your suite each evening so you can wake and eat at what ever time is right for you. We make every effort to preserve our precious island resources so our scheduled linen change is every three days for guests staying more than three nights, with full maid service once per week for our extended stay guests.
Two night minimum stay required unless booking within seven days of arrival date. One night bookings are subject to $25 fee. Reservations are confirmed by an advanced deposit of 50% which must be received within 7 days after making your reservation. Reservations are not guaranteed until deposit is received. Balance is due upon arrival. We will happily refund your deposit, less a $25 booking fee, for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival date. No refunds after check-in unless we are able to rebook your room for nights reserved.
